One more challenging genre to shoot is macro photography. You have to come very close to the object with the lens and if you want to shoot an insect, there is a risk that it’s escaping.
It’s also difficult to set the focus at the right position, because you have a very narrow depth of field. On the display of the camera you can not really see very well, if you succeeded, because it’s to small. It happend very often to me, that i just noticed at home on the computer, that the sharpness is not where it should have been.
And if you think to shoot a flower is an easy job, you have not considered of the wind. Even when you think there is almost no wind, the flowers are moving.
So, macro photography is a question of patience and practice. I will stay on the ball…;-)
